Career
Marcel started his professional career during his Bachelor’s degree (Business Law) with an internship in the tax department at KPMG; as a foundation stone for his direct entry into the “Global Mobility Services – US Tax” department at KPMG after his studies.
While working, he earned a Master of Accounting and Taxation at the Mannheim Business School.
After four years at KPMG in the field, Marcel broadened his horizons in the “Corporate Tax” and “International Tax and Transaction Services – Transaction Tax Advisory” departments at WTS and EY in Frankfurt.
In March 2019, he successfully passed the tax advisor exam and was appointed as a tax advisor by the Chamber of Tax Advisors of Hesse and has since been contributing his expertise to medium-sized tax firms.
Marcel joined the Bartsch Tax team in Frankfurt in August 2023.
